Writer's picture: Beatrice NdemeraBeatrice Ndemera

Hey guys welcome to the Guest Edition! Super excited to be continuing with this category of the blog! & in this article I am introducing a young lady whom when I first met - her energy & persona was just infectiously positive.

Words of my own are actually not enough to describe, thus I allowed her the chance to not only feature in today's edition but also this coming Wednesday as well & in commemoration of every woman who has faced GBV & as a way of being an activist in this sensitive movement, this young lady wrote an article with regards to that! Look out as well for a YT vlog I did with her! There is just so much content & I hope you look forward to it & are excited as I am!

Drum rolls!!

Hello there Tatenda! Welcome to the Pieces Unleashed Guest Edition! We are just going to start off by breaking the ice, so tell us about yourself?

I am the daughter to a young couple.

I am a lady, a sister to amazing siblings.

I am a high school graduate.

I am a forgiven sinner.

Gods daughter.

I am a spirit.

I am a powerful force.

I am a girlfriend.

I am a combination of emotions.

I am the belief systems I grew up surrounded by.

I am a 21st-century young lady, a 90's baby.

I am love and honesty.

Okay! Your introduction though! Some of us are really cliche but you definitely aren't! Tell us a little bit more about yourself - particularly your motivators?

I am motivated by Gods glory. His amazing and awesomeness, HIS plan for all of us.

I am motivated by my journey, the challenges I have faced and the woman I desire to be

I am motivated by my parents and siblings, their hard work and dedication to get me to where I am today.

I am motivated by the problems I see women struggling with, it pushes me to ensure I play my role in society.

I am motivated by my best friend, he questions me in a good way, pushes me to see things from a different angle. Lastly I am motivated by so many things - it all depends on time, position and the decision that has to be made.

Alrightie! I know it maybe a bit weird for me to ask you these questions - but I really like to see what pushes people & it makes me happy when they actually know their motivators in life. Which brings us to the next question, what are your biggest fears?

I used to be afraid of so many things, now I am training my mind to be wired to know that what I fear holds me down. I refuse to be afraid, I choose faith over fear. Check out my upcoming blog post on faith over fear. ( missmasuku.co.zw)

One of the things I like about you - is like me, you are also a content creator in your own way! Tell us more about that?

From a young age I have been a piece of art. I had memories being shared of how at times I used to use the window instead of the car door to jump out of the car because I was so excited we would have finally arrived at our destination.

I was cautioned, which changed that behavior but from a young age I told stories only to those who really listened & could understand.

From the personal experiences and knowledge gained I decided to serve my nation and the people around me by sharing my thoughts, experiences as well as others peoples thoughts and experiences. I believe that we are all stories and unless they are shared the grave yard will continue to become one of the richest places on earth.

Oh how I love my positive childhood memories! My Dad always tells me that I was a happy child & still maintain that energy to this point! I love it when people take the positive aspects of history to shape them. Tell us about your blog! How did you start?

It’s been running for years, I used to journal daily.

I had always wanted a website but I kept saying it and did nothing towards it. My friends pushed me to start; my best friend put a time limit on me and said in two weeks it must be done.

My other friend read through my first blog post and edited it for me. In that moment I realized all along I had everything I needed to start & I had not given myself a time frame. I kind of just started and that’s also how I started.

Okay! Great. Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us. I hope this introduction gives my readers a brief summary of who you are & that the intrigue has been built for what you have to give to this world through your talents!

As always I am appreciative of the people that allow to share their perspectives & experiences! Absolutely looking forward to sharing the next post from Tatenda as previously mentioned! Thank you guys for tuning in!
